Eric was raised in the hospitality industry, working in his family’s bar and restaurant from an early age. With over 40 years of tavern, restaurant, and banquet experience, he has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the food, beverage, and entertainment industries. As the owner of a popular lakeside bar, grill, and marina in Madison, Wisconsin, Eric learned through decades of hands-on experience how to manage and operate a successful business.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Eric earned a degree in Agricultural Economics but followed his passion into hospitality. He is passionate about helping people realize their next course, whether it is owning a business or developing a succession plan and road to retirement.
Eric has been a leader in the industry for the past 25 years, serving as President of the Madison/Dane County Tavern League for seven years, as well as serving on the statewide Board of Directors of the Tavern League of Wisconsin since 2012. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association and serves on several nonprofit boards and committees.
Eric loves all things Wisconsin! Born in Madison, he has lived and worked on the shores of Lake Waubesa his entire life. He is an avid sports fan, cheering on the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. Eric enjoys boating and traveling with Pam, his wife of 30 years, in addition to spending time hunting around the state with his Yellow Labrador, Silas.
